Haloween Hatred

I wrote about this a couple of years ago but I still feel the exact same way and I think it begs rewriting.

October is spooky season, all due to Haloween being the 30th of the month.

Even as a child, I have disliked Haloween as it’s always been a corporate holiday. For most of the world, the day doesn’t hold any sort of meaning. Simply a way for companies to get a lot of money from people buying costumes, decorations, and sweets (candy for Americans, confectionary for everyone else). There is also a more personal reason, but I won’t go into that here, but my family hasn’t celebrated it within my lifetime.

I have never celebrated Haloween, and I don’t think I particularly want to. Really I am not even going to talk about Haloween again. BRING ON CHRISTMAS!!! PLEASE!!!
