Zettelkasten — My New Note Taking Method

I have seen a little bit about the Zettelkasten method for note taking, and after a little bit of research, I got interested and am starting to get myself setup with my nice new Zettelkasten setup. It seems relatively simple, all notes are linked to each other, with no orphan notes (notes without links). Basically a way to organise notes.
The Zettelkasten method uses two different types of notes: fleeting and permanent.
Fleeting notes are temporary notes, everyone takes these, they’re the little things that we need to quickly jot down to stop us forgetting them at any time. These could be converted into permanent notes, if they are something worth keeping, if not, they can be deleted.
Permanent notes are, well, permanent. These are the notes that you want to keep them for your future reference. They are kind of comparable to atomic distros, atomic notes you might say. General rules for these are one “big idea” per note, none of this flicking between different topics, but if everything is linked together, that’s not an issue. They also don’t need context as they are in themselves the context, whereas fleeting notes will need more context to be useful later on down the line.
I’m interested to see how this goes, if I can work well with this at home, in my digital life, I might try implementing this sort of thing at work, when I return in September.
Honestly seems quite interesting and I am looking forward to trying to clear up my notes a bit and organise them in a way that is as future proof as can be.
Hope this was interesting for some, have a good one. BYEEE!!!
