Blost Ideas Are Hard To Come By

I have had a long list of blog posts to write, this isn’t one of them) but have never got round to the for one reason or another. This list contains all the blosts of my dreams, ones that I really want to spend time on and making the best they can be, often with a lot of research attached. Of course I don’t often have a lot of time to sit down and do research and write these long blosts, so they just go down and down my priority list, and just go stale on my list. When I want to write a blost, I then have to come up with a topic on the fly, which can be quite difficult, if your mind goes blank, which mine did when I was deciding what to write today, hence the topic.

This past week, I have written a blost a day (keeps the doctor away) which has been very difficult to come up with ideas. I often just look around or think about what I’m doing there and then and go from there.

I try to come up with interesting topics but they don’t always turn out how I planned them to be.

I have written this week about wanting to write more and better, but sometimes this quality just doesn’t come. My last blost was a mess, and I don’t like it, but I enjoyed the process of writing. I often write about my own writing and reading problems which is often me getting all my thoughts out of my head, and just adds to the problem. I should really focus on writing the blosts from my list and just slowly work away on them. I want to write and I want to write about those topics, but I haven’t, so I think I’m going to give a go and doing that.

I have one more daily blost to go which is tomorrow, which will be a retrospective on the week of daily blosts, I’m looking forward to it. I also think every so often, I’ll try to do a challenge of write a blost a day for a week, keep myself occupied with blosts. (Stop me from being distracted by other things).
