Robots Saved My Reading

Over the last month or so, I have been reading The Robot Series by Isaac Asimov. So far I have read 3 books and am on the fourth. The 3 I’ve read so far have been:

I bought the complete Robot Series a little while ago (a year or so ago), and have had it on my ever growing pile of to-read books since then. At the beginning of April, after having troubles with my reading, I made the decision to start another book and then go back to the one that was troubling me (The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Rings). This is where I started I,Robot and after loving what I read, I just couldn’t put the book down and eventually finished it within a week and then went onto The Rest of the Robots which I also finished in a week.

The speed of finishing these books was a great achievement for myself, never have I read a book so quickly, and I had just spent months only going 100 odd pages through LOTR, very relieving. I have, whenever I sit down and read, struggled to put the book down, often it takes external factors stopping me to get me to stop.

Why have I been enjoying these books? Well, the only thing that comes to my mind is robots. I have always liked robots, it’s got to have something to do with that. I have done a lot of reading over the last month or so and that's all because of the Robots Series.

I was planning this to be a longer blost, but my brain kinda went poof after a couple of days and I lost my train of thought. I think that everything I wanted to cover is in the post anyway, so I'm happy with that.

Have a good one, catch you later.
