June Is Upon Us
May is now over, and June is here. May was great for me, read a ton and played a load of games. I am now looking forward to what June can bring me, planning what I want to do and when. Below I’ll give a little detail into some of my plans for the month, hopefully I can keep to them all.
Writing
Yesterday, I started writing Episode 6 of my mini story series, A Race Against Time. I have got a whole idea for the episode and where I want the story to go. I am hoping to write a few episodes this month so my writing here might be slower than it is now (although if I go any slower, I might end up going backwards).
I want to write a few blosts this month as well, just need to figure out what I want to write and then actually write them. Could be some cool stuff.
Gaming
I enjoyed a lot of gaming throughout May, playing FlightGear, Flashing Lights and later Stormworks (been really enjoying the later in the last few days). I’m definitely going to be doing a lot more gaming this month too, and I really want to record some videos of my gaming shenanigans for my YouTube channel.
It’s going to be fun.
Reading
This last couple of months has been crazy for reading, I’ve finished 3 books and I’m 60+% through a 4th book. I’ve been really enjoying the books I’ve been reading.
This month, I want to continue my reading success, I am close to finishing The Caves of Steel (the book I’m currently reading), which has been very enjoyable so far. I hope to finish my current book and completely read a further book.
Linux
Well, I have been playing around with my Linux laptop, trying to find what works for me. I am wanting to take a look at Wayland stuff now. After watching Brodie’s recent live stream on Niri, I want to give it a go, never used a scrolling WM before, could be fun. I also want to get Sway setup as it’s probably the best Wayland tiling compositor that I have used previously.
This could be a blast, and I think I could get a couple of blosts out of these experiments.
Anyway, that’s probably enough for now of my plans/hopes for the month of June and a little touch on what I’ve done in May (I’m going to count this as a month review). Have a good one!
